The Yin-Yang symbol is about the complimentarity of opposites. A related idea is conflict of opposites:
So what we have here with all these symbols, is the implication that all existence is, or results from, a conflict between two fundamental aspects of reality, a conflict which needs bridging if there is to be a world, and the bridge is provided by the rungs (steps) on Jacob's Ladder, the base pairs of DNA:
These two aspects or dimensions of reality are forever dancing around each other.
